yes when the event is pre match, you will see it as TODAYS market, when it is in play, you will see it as RUNNING MATCHES. i placed it on the running market and even premiumtrading confirmed that.
the score was 0-1 that also means it was running and not pre match
So far so good.Key question now.Had Premium Tradings asked Pinnacle to feed only odds for games that were in running to that page ?
Sorry,Alan, let me explain.Pinnacle's position is that they did nothing wrong - they offered pre-match betting up until the scheduled kick-off time, and it is not their fault that the game kicked off early. In order to get them to pay out on the bet,you need to prove that Pinnacle did do something wrong, and the only thing that I can think of that they might have done wrong is to provide pre-match odds feed to a page that was intended for in-running betting.
Thank you quincunx,
i do not know how to go about this more but i am sure that on the premiumtrading platform where i placed the bet, it was on the page for in play matches because the other bookies are listed on that page or line too with in play odds.
On their own website,Pinnacle have separate pages for pre-match quotes and live quotes.Since the quote you took was on Premium Tradings live/in-play page, and since it turned out to have been a pre-match quote, you need to ask Premium Tradings what precautions [if any] they took to to make sure their in-running quotes were sourced from live/in-play pages as opposed to pre-match pages. That is the only way that I can think of of finding out whose fault the mistake was.
It might also be worth checking that the game did kick off early.I was unable to do that, but you might have a friend who knows how to.
